2011 NATJA Award for my Papua New Guinea article "Land of the Last Frontier".
I am a travel writer/ photographer and a member of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC).
During an 18-year career my articles and photographs have been published in all of Canada's major newspapers.
The following Canadian magazines have also used my work:
Doctor's Review,
Readers Digest,
Dreamscapes,
Pursuit,
Atmosphere (Air Transat inflight magazine),
Zoomer magazine,
Carp 50 Plus,
Canadian Gardening,
Jardins magazine.
For the past eight years I have been the travel writer for Del Condominium Life magazine.
In addition to working with Canadian publishers my articles and photos have been published in the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, Christian Science Monitor, Islands magazine, Birds and Blooms, Farm and Ranch and The Lady magazine (UK).
My photographs have been and still are being used by book, magazine, newspaper, calendar and greeting card publishers.

I think there’s no greater joy than completing a song out of thin air. It’s like inventing something, but it’s invisible, you know? It’s weird. It amazes me.
